POSITION ANALYSIS & CANDIDATE PROFILE

The more clear the objective from the start, the more likely that the best candidate will be found for the job.

Therefore, we find it imperative to determine the fundamentals of the job (i.e. the Position Analysis) as well as what behaviour and characteristics will make a candidate successful (i.e. the Candidate Profile).

The Position Analysis is the beginning of any search we perform. It involves speaking with key managers in the hiring process, reviewing the position description and understanding the company’s vision, values and culture.

Once our Position Analysis is completed, we produce a range of key factors including:

  • job description
  • person specification
  • person-job match
  • critical success attributes
  • related behavioural questions

The summation of these factors leads to the Candidate Profile. In essence, the Candidate Profile is the five or six most important core competencies and overall behaviour required for success. This becomes a roadmap for conducting the search and the interview itself.

At all times, communication is the cornerstone of our approach.
